John spent most of his career as an engineer with the Watervliet Arsenal designing cannons and gun mounts for the US military. Dolores was a homemaker primarily. Both were born in New York City but lived the majority of their lives in Niskayuna, NY - a suburb of Schenectady. They later moved to Sun City Grand in Surprize, AZ.
